  • Hi DFID discovered a problem with how their budget template was dealing with consortium applications, which they have made a fix to now.   • Thanks for sharing, Tim. I've got a few questions on the action plan. They make a distinction between direct and indirect spend on SMEs, but never clearly define this. Does direct = prime contracts and indirect = subcontracts? Does DFID set aside any contracts solely for SMEs? Will proposal evaluations going forward include points for including SME subs on one's bid?
