    Note:  These requirements are VERY different for direct USAID contracts and grants vs subcontracts, subawards, vendors, or GUCs.

    Dear all,

    I noticed that USAID updated their guidance on SAMs and UEI registration confirming that foreign entities under $25,000 are automatically NOT exempt from UEI registration. AOs must approve the exemption on a case by case basis.

    You can find the reference on page 3.
