American Refugee Committee in Liberia received the Society for the annual prestigious Promotion of Peace annual award and a Certificate of Appreciation for the meaningful role that ARC continues to play towards the nation's national recovery program in helping to butress governement poverty Reduction Strategy through its microfinance empowerment program, training and capacity building of adolescent girls and young women since its establishment in Liberia, in 1998.
