President and CEO of Sustainable Harvest Wins 2012 Shriver Award for Distinguished Humanitarian Service

Florence Reed, Founder and CEO of Sustainable Harvest, won this from the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) for her years of work in sustainable agriculture in Central America.  She was unanimously selected from a group of 23 other nominees by a panel of five judges.  The award is given to a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who continues to make a sustained and distinguished contribution to humanitarian causes at home or abroad, or is an innovative social entrepreneur whose actions will bring about significant long-term change.  Read more at: http://www.virtual-strategy.com/2012/07/24/florence-reed-wins-2012-shriver-award-her-efforts-sustainable-agriculture#c2br2GDooO7WGJEH.99
