InsideNGO has just learned that the HR Certification Institute (HRCi) is offering a new certification for HR professionals who work outside the US supporting field operations. This pilot initiative will provide field staff with professional HR certification but since it is a pilot all of the resources, testing etc has been steeply discounted.

The HR Certification Institute invites HR professionals associated with the InsideNGO community to be among the first to earn an HR Business Professional (HRBP®) or HR Management Professional (HRMP®) certification. These new certifications are designed especially for HR practitioners working outside of the US supporting local operations. These certifications are designed to complement local certifications, if any, to demonstrate mastery of a core HR body of knowledge and empower certificants’ resumes. The HR Certification Institute has been certifying HR professionals for 35 years with nearly 120,000 certificants in over 87 countries. (www.hrci.org)
Because these certifications are new, the HR Certification Institute is implementing a pilot program which is being offered at a highly discounted rate. The full cost of the exam and a comprehensive set of study materials is $140, which is less than 20% of the total value of the exam and materials.
