Compliance and Reporting Requirements for Sub-Awards & Sub-Contracts

USAID would like to remind implementing partners of the approval and reporting requirements for sub-awards under assistance mechanisms and sub-contracts under acquisition mechanisms.

Prior approval and reporting are legal requirements, and as the Agency's Acquisition and Assistance Strategy highlights, this information allows USAID to track partner progress and advance Agency priority initiatives such as local capacity development.

The following two memorandums, which are posted on the Agency's Implementing Partner Notice portals, outline the relevant policy references, threshold requirements, and required information for submission through the Federal Sub-award Reporting System (FSRS).

    Memo on Sub-Award Reporting

    Memo on Sub-Contract Reporting

To ensure effective compliance, we ask that our prime recipients and contractors enter all the necessary information on their sub-awards and sub-contracts by November 30, 2020. If you have questions about your organization's specific reporting requirements, I encourage you to contact your Contracting or Agreement Officer.

Thank you in advance for complying with these important requirements.

    Regards,

    USAID's Industry Liaison
