    From USAID/M/OAA: Reminder to register today for virtual discussion on May 16 with USAID on A&A Strategy refresh!

    "I wanted to send a quick reminder for our A&A Strategy refresh discussion for next Monday, May 16th at 10:00 am ET. 

    During this time, we will highlight the process by which we conducted the stocktaking of the strategy, key lessons learned, and draft strategy themes. We will seek your input on an upcoming implementation plan related to the 2022 A&A Strategy.

    Please see attached the slide deck from USAID/M/OAA leadership's May 16 meeting with Humentum and others regarding their current efforts to "refresh" the 2018 Acquisition and Assistance Strategy to be even more aligned with the agency's recently stated locally led development objectives. Per the Industry Liaison:

    "The A&A Strategy is a key document that guides USAID's overall partnership approach. The goal of our refresh has been twofold: 1) to identify areas where the A&A Strategy needed to be more proactive in addressing the development priorities of this Administration, and 2) to ensure that the A&A Strategy reflected the needs and priorities of the USAID A&A workforce. We are hoping to finalize the A&A Strategy in the coming months, with an implementation plan soon to follow. We look forward to continuing to engage with you as the Strategy is developed and the implementation plan is put into place."
