Dear Humentum members,

USAID is seeking your valuable feedback on the cost(s) of complying with some of their award requirements; specifically, costs of managing compliance and/or safeguarding considerations under their awards. using the subject line "Partner Compliance Costs."  USAID is requesting this feedback by June 1st, 2023.

Here are the questions for your reference:

1.     Does your organization have a Compliance and Ethics Director (or similar personnel)?

2.     Does your organization have a Safeguarding Advisor or a Risk Auditor/Advisor that advises your organization on various risks, such as sexual exploitation and abuse, survivor care, etc.?

3.     If you answered yes to the above, please give an estimate of the annual cost for providing such personnel and or the average salary(ies) of such personnel.

4.     If your organization does not have a Compliance and Ethics Director or Safeguarding Advisor or similar personnel, has your organization ever outsourced these functions and if so, what were the estimated costs of doing so? How often has your organization had to outsource these functions?

5.     Has your organization ever provided these services and/or included these services as a budget line item in subcontracts/subgrants to subcontractors or subgrantees at a cost and if so, what did that look like cost-wise?
