    Hi all,

I'm back again with not one...but TWO upcoming opportunities to talk about USAID's progress on locally-led development. Both are on April 11th.

    • Webinar 1: April 11th from 8-9 AM EST (12-1 PM UTC)
      • Working with USAID: Challenges, Opportunities and Recommendations (Hosted by Humentum and the Modernizing Foreign Assistance Network)
        • Join Humentum and the Modernizing Foreign Assistance Network (MFAN) for a roundtable discussion on the challenges and opportunities associated with working with USAID. While this event is open to all Humentum members, we particularly encourage local and national CSO participation in this event. Whether you've received USAID funding in the past, are currently receiving funding, or would like to work with USAID in the future, your perspective is welcome!

    • Webinar 2: April 11th from 10-11 AM EST (2-3 PM UTC)
      • USAID Funding Innovations for Localization (Hosted by Plan International)
        • We will hear directly from USAID policy makers about procurement reforms already underway to advance localization, discover two innovations that have already been implemented, and discuss next steps for acquisition and assistance as USAID strives to meet its target of 25% direct local funding by FY25. We will be joined by USAID's new Senior Procurement Executive and Chief Acquisition Officer, Jami Rodgers, for a keynote interview, and then hear from an expert panel. Register here
