USAID's Bureau for Management will host a consultation with Implementing Partners on Thursday, June 1st · 8:00am – 9:00am (EST) to introduce its new Accountability Mechanism (AM), including why it's important, and what it means for your members.
The AM is a new tool that will serve as a redress channel for any individual or group of individuals who can demonstrate that they have experienced or may experience potentially adverse social, economic, or environmental impacts resulting from USAID efforts. As Implementing Partners, the M Bureau wants to introduce the AM to you. This webinar will be followed at a later date by a round of consultations with IPs to hear from you regarding good ways to socialize this with the communities we work in (i.e., program participants) and considerations for Accountability Mechanism roll out from your perspective.
