    USAID is releasing their updated Local Capacity Strengthening Policy on October 19th! This is an updated version of the Local Capacity Development Policy they initially released for comments at the beginning of 2022. You can read Humentum's comments here.     USAID is excited to launch our very first Local Capacity Strengthening (LCS) Policy. We invite you to attend the virtual launch event on Wednesday, October 19 from 8:00am to 9:00am EDT, hosted by Deputy Administrator Paloma Adams-Allen. You can register for the event here.<o:p></o:p>

    The event will be recorded, live-streamed on YouTube, and made available for those unable to attend. The Local Capacity Strengthening Policy will be published prior to the launch event; in the meantime, please see a two-page summary here. <o:p></o:p>
